From the Tarang Collection

Jharna meaning "Waterfall" is the most spirited piece of the Tarang collection. It captures the breathtaking sight of water cascading down a mountain face, breaking into a million crystalline droplets as it hits the light. Jharna is a tribute to the vertical, energetic descent of watergraceful, free-flowing, and filled with a sparkling, natural rhythm.

The Jharna Saree is an ethereal masterpiece crafted in an ivory-pearl metallic tissue. The fabric has a crushed, shimmering texture that mimics the frothy, white foam of a waterfall. It is adorned with delicate, vine-like gold zari embroidery that flows diagonally across the body, punctuated by hand-placed sequin "droplets." A dainty gold scalloped border provides a soft, rhythmic finish, echoing the spray of water against stone. The look is completed with a deep wine-red piping for a touch of royal contrast.

The Jharna Saree is a dream for evening engagements, cocktail parties, or intimate weddings. To enhance its "falling water" aesthetic, style it with long, cascading diamond or pearl drop earrings. A soft, wavy hairstyle and a bold ruby-red lip will perfectly complement the ivory base and the wine-toned piping, creating a look of effortless, liquid sophistication.

Care & Usage Tips

  • Roll on a pipe or use a mulmul cloth to avoid creases.
  • Prevent stretching and damage to zari work by avoiding hangers.
  • Keep away from direct contact with perfumes to preserve the fabric's quality.
  • Best to avoid dry cleaning to maintain the natural sheen.
  • Use steam ironing to gently  remove wrinkles
